Ongoing Partnerships

For clients who need more than a one-off shoot, Stranahan Media Co. offers monthly and quarterly retainers. These plans are built for artists, brands, small businesses, and models who want consistent imagery, recurring creative work, and priority access to the calendar.

Especially suited to brands and small businesses building a recognizable visual identity, artists releasing work in cycles, and models actively building their book.

Monthly Retainer

Recurring monthly visual work for clients who need fresh imagery in their world every single month.

[contact for pricing]
  • 1 scheduled shoot window each month
  • Agreed set of edited deliverables
  • Pre-shoot planning and concept alignment
  • Priority booking access
  • Optional short-form BTS or motion add-on

Instead of chasing individual bookings, you reserve recurring time each month and receive a predictable set of polished deliverables — analog-forward, every cycle.

Quarterly Retainer

A lighter-rhythm partnership for clients who want consistency over time without committing to a monthly production schedule.

[contact for pricing]
  • 1 shoot per quarter (or batched within the cycle)
  • Agreed edited image set per cycle
  • Planning call before each shoot
  • Priority scheduling within your cycle
  • Optional add-ons for extra edits, film, or motion

A natural fit for brands and small businesses planning around launches or seasons, artists releasing work in cycles, and models who want an ongoing relationship without a monthly production schedule.

Custom Content Partnership

Built for brands, venues, agencies, and larger creative campaigns that need a custom mix of photography, hybrid media, and recurring production support.

[contact for pricing]
  • Recurring photography and/or hybrid analog-digital media production
  • Custom shoot cadence
  • Deliverables built around your specific campaign goals
  • Planning support and production coordination
  • Priority turnaround options

For businesses and creative teams that need a dedicated visual partner, custom partnerships are scoped around your real content needs rather than a fixed menu.

Retainer clients aren't just booking sessions — they're reserving ongoing access to a distinctive analog-forward process and the person behind it.

Retainer plans are billed on a monthly or quarterly cycle and structured around an agreed shoot cadence, deliverable count, and turnaround window. Final details are confirmed in a custom agreement before scheduling begins. Unused sessions or deliverables do not automatically roll over unless stated in your agreement.

How It Works

Retainer clients reserve recurring creative capacity with Stranahan Media Co. on a monthly or quarterly basis. Most plans include a set shoot cadence, an agreed number of edited deliverables, planning before each session, and priority access to the calendar.

  1. Choose a monthly, quarterly, or custom plan.
  2. We align on goals, references, and deliverables together.
  3. Shoots are scheduled within your retained cycle.
  4. Final imagery is delivered according to your plan.
  5. Additional coverage, rush edits, film stock, or expanded usage can be quoted separately.

A signed agreement and initial payment are required before scheduling begins.

Not Your Typical Session

This is not your typical photo session.

Most photographers hand you a Lightroom preset and call it edited. We don't do that.

Every session at Stranahan Media Co. starts with something you can't replicate digitally — a vintage film or tape camera that captures light, grain, and color the way the original engineers intended. Cameras that haven't been manufactured in decades. Film stocks and tapes that took real effort to track down.

Then the work begins. Your images aren't "tweaked" — they're edited at the pixel and data level. Custom processing, frame-by-frame decisions, techniques borrowed from glitch art, data manipulation, and analog archival work. The result is something genuinely one-of-a-kind. Not a filter. Not a preset. Not something you could squeeze out of an app on your phone.

You'll walk away with images that look like they were made by someone who genuinely cares how each individual pixel sits — because they were.

For clients who need cleaner, higher-resolution results, a small selection of modern digital cameras are now part of the arsenal — available on request and processed with the same level of attention as everything else that comes out of this studio.

About

Vintage camera collection

Stranahan Media Co. is a one-person analog studio based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Named after a favorite fictional character who valued authenticity over convenience, this studio exists to make something real in a world of endless digital perfection.

Every portrait, every piece of content, every home movie starts with something intentional — vintage film and tape cameras that capture light, grain, and color the way the original engineers intended. The grain is real. The light leaks are real. The moments are real. That's the point.

Modern digital cameras have recently joined the studio's arsenal for clients who need cleaner imagery or higher-resolution output. Same process, same standard — just a different tool when the work truly calls for it.
